Two Orange County Deputy Sheriffs who are the liason between the Sheriff's Department and the community introduced themselves and encouraged being called for assistance via the dispatcher at 714-647-7000.

Deputy Sheriff Jerry Stringer presented information of interest to the community including the fast growing crime of identity theft and the County's plan for dealing with terrorist threats. Practical tips for dealing with these and other issues were presented.

Bill Campbell, Supervisor of the third district of the County of Orange, spoke on the state of North Tustin followed by a question and answer session. Mr. Campbell is a strong advocate of North Tustin determining it's own future. He believed that the trend of unincorporated areas being annexed, without their vote, by neighboring cities is not applicable here because of the size of North Tustin.

Mr. Campbell introduced Mark Denny, his Chief of Staff and his representative for the North Tustin area. Mark Denny can be reached at mark.denny@ocgov.gov.

County departments and other organizations also had information tables.
